Get Involved

Join Us

To get involved with the society, we recommend you join us as a member through the Students Union. It's free to do so! (providing you have a Societies Federation pass). Just click the Become a Member button down below to go the the society's Student Union page where you can join.

Don't worry though! You can still take part in all our events, regardless of whether you are a member or not - we will always welcome you warmly to the society regardless!

Additionally, you don't have to be a member of the Labour Party itself to join.

We also operate a 'safe space' policy for all our members, in accordance with our Constitution. Sexist, Racist, anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, Homophobic, Biphobic, Transphobic, Ableist or other prejudiced, abusive or harassing behaviour or comments are not acceptable and will be dealt with accordingly.

What We Do

As a society, we offer many different Labour-related events. Some may be things you are interested in, some may not be - don't worry! You absolutely don't have to attend every event.

We host regular socials, some involving alcohol and some that are sober. There is never any pressure to drink at our events, and there are always society Exec members present who are sober even at drinking socials. Additionally, we regularly host socials in combination with other left-wing or liberation-based societies.

We campaign regularly:

1. In Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth with the local Labour MPs and candidates.

2. On issues at the University that matter to all, such as the UCU strikes.

We have a blog/magazine, L.E.F.T., that we release pitches for anyone to take and write an article on!

We have a 5-a-side football team!
